Lester F. Aponte
Lester F. Aponte specializes in the representation and counseling of employers in all aspects of employment and labor law, including wrongful termination, employment discrimination, wage and hour issues, harassment litigation and training, unfair competition, personnel policies, workplace investigations, and employee discipline and discharge. He has also developed substantial experience in defending discrimination and wage and hour class actions and in defending employers before the National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Aponte has represented employers of all sizes and endeavors, including several Fortune 500 companies, national restaurant chains, private universities, large retailers, and transportation companies. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Aponte was associated with two prominent national labor and employment firms. Mr. Aponte has served on the boards of the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Puerto Rican Bar Association of California, and the Lesbian and Gay Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
Mr. Aponte received his B.A. degree in Political Science from Haverford College in 1986. He received his J.D. degree from the Columbia University School of Law in 1989.
